High School Career
Green attended Saginaw High School in Michigan, where he played under coach Lou Dawkins. As a sophomore in 2005-06, he averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds per game. By his junior year in 2006-07, Green had significantly improved, averaging 25 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and three steals per game while leading Saginaw to a Class A State Championship and a 26–1 record.
